Great Circle Design is a specialist consultancy and design service that concentrates exclusively on radio topics.
The range of experience covers consumer products to scientific instrumentation and includes detailed circuit design through to system planning. We have expertise in most areas of the Short Range Device world, including telemetry, security systems, remote metering and RFID. GCD has considerable experience in producing radio links that work under difficult conditions, such as the increasing level of interference now seen in the SRD bands. Consultancy services offered include feasibility studies and advice at early stages in project planning, preparation of specifications, acting as customer’s technical representative, problem solving, and liaising with test houses and official bodies. GCD has its own extensive development laboratory and test facilities. We undertake contract design and development of products, and can also produce one-off or low-volume devices for specific purposes.
