Cold Chain Instruments Ltd (CCI) is part of the Seven Group of companies. CCI was founded in 1990 to design, produce and sell temperature recorders for the refrigerated transport industry, thereby enabling vehicle operators to meet the requirements of food safety legislation.
These recorders are marketed under the registered trademark TranScan. Current models include the TranScan Solo, TranScan XL, TranScan Rigid and TranScan Trailer. The recorded data from a fleet equipped with TranScan XLs can be automatically downloaded via a two-way short-range RF link and displayed using proprietary software. During the last decade the name TranScan has become synonymous with quality, reliability and first-class after-sales support, enabling CCI to outsell its rivals many times over and live up to the claim of ‘First Choice for the Refrigerated Transport Industry’.
