This presentation will describe the roles of the various bodies (CEN, CEPT, TCAM, ISO, ITU, European Commission, etc.) concerned with decisions on the use and availability of the radio frequency spectrum for short-range devices. It will focus on the areas of responsibility for each relevant body, the ways in which they relate and interact with each other, if at all, and the significance of the various decision instruments (recommendations, reports, decisions, etc.) produced by them.
